If the BJP-led alliance comes to power in the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly elections, the party has presented a list of 25 promises aimed at the welfare of the people of Maharashtra.

Union Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah, along with party leaders Piyush Goyal, Devendra Fadnavis, and others, unveiled the BJP’s manifesto for the Maharashtra Assembly elections in Mumbai on Sunday, November 10, 2024.

Senior party leaders, including Piyush Goyal, the leader of the BJP’s Rajya Sabha, and Maharashtra’s deputy chief minister, Devendra Fadnavis, were also in attendance.

1. Ladki Bahin Yojana: ₹2,100 monthly financial assistance for women, which adds up to ₹25,200 yearly.

2. Farmers can receive debt relief through loan waivers, a 20% price alignment with MSP, and a raise in the minimum honorarium from ₹12,000 to ₹15,000.

3. Housing and Food Security: Giving impoverished families permanent housing and food security.

4. Seniors’ Enhanced Pension: Old-age pensions will now be ₹82,100 instead of ₹21,500.

5. Keeping the costs of necessities stable will help combat inflation.

6. Ten lakh students will receive a monthly stipend of ₹10,000, and twenty-five lakh new work opportunities will be created.

7. Infrastructure Development: Farm ponds and 45,000 settlements are connected by roads.

8. Support for ASHA and Anganwadi Workers: Insurance coverage and a monthly salary of ₹15,000.

9. Lower Electricity Bills: Solar and renewable energy are promoted, and electricity bills are reduced by 30%.

10. Economic Growth: By 2028, Maharashtra’s economy is expected to be worth $1 trillion.

11. Maharashtra 2029 Vision: to be submitted within 100 days of the government’s formation.

12. FinTech and Aerospace Hubs: turning Maharashtra into a hub for FinTech and logistics, and turning Nagpur, Pune, and Nashik into aerospace hubs.

13. Examples of farmer subsidies include a minimum price of ₹76,000 per quintal for soybeans and exemptions from the SGST on fertilizer purchases.

14. One example of industrial development is the creation of industrial clusters with ₹21,000 crore in circulating capital for 50 lakh women entrepreneurs working for self-help groups.

15. A free ration is available to low-income households under the Akshay Ann Yojana.

16. For aspiring entrepreneurs, the MahaRathi-ATL Scheme will be presented.

17. Finding out what the sector requires through a skill census is the first step in analyzing skill gaps.

18. One strategy to assist entrepreneurs is to create “Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Aspirational Centers” in every district, which are expected to produce 10 lakh new company owners.

19. Interest-Free Loans: SC, ST, and OBC business owners can apply for interest-free loans of ₹15 lakh.

20. Fee Reimbursement: OBC, SEBC, EWS, NT, and VJNT students will receive their tuition and exam expenses back.

21. Youth Health Card: Swami Vivekananda Youth Health Card is being introduced to provide yearly health examinations for youth.

22. The creation of a Fort Development Authority (FDA) to protect and promote state history is known as heritage conservation.

23. Senior Citizens First Policy: Presenting senior citizen service delivery facilitated by Aadhaar.

24. Enacting stringent legislation to prevent coerced and false religious conversions is known as an anti-conversion law.

25. Human-Wildlife Conflict Management: Using advanced technology like artificial intelligence (AI) and drones to reduce conflicts and prevent loss of life and property.

To meet the varied aspirations of Maharashtra’s populace, the manifesto places a strong emphasis on welfare services, economic expansion, and technical breakthroughs.
